Now Playing at The Bridgeway
Mao's Last Dancer
A drama based on the autobiography by Li Cunxin who came from unbelivable
poverty to become a principal artist and found international stardom - an
inspiring true story of one boys dream come true.
The Royal New Zealand Ballet were lucky enough to have Li Cunxin visit their studios while he was in NZ for the premiere screenings of Mao’s Last Dancer and the dancers
of the RNZB who attended the premiere found the film very moving and inspirational. The RNZB are delighted to offer Bridgeway patrons a chance to win when you see this fantastic movie. The RNZB is currently touring NZ with the Tower season of From Here To There - 3 stylish, spirited and sensual works of dance featuring 2 new commisions - A Song In The Dark & Silhouette and the return of an acclaimed encore, A Million Kisses to My Skin. The season opened last week in Dunedin to rave reviews and the RNZB will be performing this elegant and lyrical programme at the Aotea Centre from 17-20 March.
So it is Bridgeway and RNZB’S pleasure to offer our patrons the chance to win one of five double passes to the Tower season of From Here To There.
